Other Logo Designs

I decided to try out silhouette versions of the tiki and Tastic reminiscent of how Disney uses the Mickey Mouse ears for their logo. I feel both silhouette read well but the Tiki seems to read better when smaller compared to the Tastic logo. I may also try to add shading and highlight to help make the pop more.
I also decided to try use the head of my character Tastic. He is the main character of my story and I draw him often. I feel he has a very distinct look but fear there his overall look may not be simple enough for a logo.
This design is of one of my characters, the tiki named Griki. I enjoy using this character as a logo and it's a very simple design that can be read in various sizes.

I created this sun logo to sort of resemble myself. I created it in the style of my flash animations. My work often features bright colors and style locations so I thought a sun would represent me well.

Digital LLama Print Template

In this version I put more emphasis on my name but enlarging it. I Also lowered my title and email just below the name along the same line.

I decided to have my print template follow the design of the black and white business card. It follows the same aesthetic as the business card. The black and white help maintain focus on the more vibrant art.

Digital LLama Logo and cards.

I started off with the idea of using a "Digital LLama." The name came from my friend's inability to say my last name. I found it humorous and easier to pronounce than my last name so I drafted an idea for a logo.

I did several color comps of the logo to see how it would look. I found the solid black to be the strongest as it was the easiest to read in various sizes. The grid patter would blend with the colors too much in the other designs.

I first tried a design that would simply feature the logo on the front of the card.
My information would then be found of the back of the card.

I then decided to try a design that featured both the logo and information on the same side of the card. I made the name large to make sure it's grabs the reader's attention first. I chose a font that fit the graphic style of the pixel llama. I tried a lighter blue background but feel that there may not be enough contrast and the text will be hard to read.

I then tried a design where I used strictly black and white for added contrast. I added the border to frame the card and help take away from some of the extra negative space.

I tried the same design but this time lowered the text to align with the bottom of the logo.
